New Year’s resolution is a tradition, most common in the Western Hemisphere, but also found in the Eastern Hemisphere, in which a person makes a promise to do an act of self-improvement like getting into shape, quit smoking or start a business at the beginning of the New Year’s Day.
Welcome to video podcast number 9 and now that we are wrapping up another year, 2016 is on the way out and 2017 is on the arrival, I would like to discuss with you one of the most popular New Year resolutions many people make and that is to get in great shape, stay healthy and improve their well being.
For this next segment I want to discuss the very basics of getting into shape and having a workable plan so that you can stick to it.
We are living in the internet age ware there is a plethora of information flooding cyber space, which only adds to many peoples frustration and confusions.
By the end of January we will see many people, whos goal was to get in shape, no longer following through with their exercise regimen.
In every profession and in every sport we must begin with the basics. Once you have them down pact you will be able to confidently begin in executing your plan.
Lets begin by describing the four levels of fitness, which are:
- Body composition
The purpose of an exercise program is to incorporate all four of these components.
There are many styles of working out you can do but for this segment I will be going over one of the most popular ways of getting into shape, and that is by using weight resistance exercise along with some cardio.
